Lake End House - Open Garden for NGS
A large 3 acre lake created on a brown field site, provides a wonderful watery centrepiece for this extensive modern garden. The modern house (not open) overlooks the lake, while on the other side, a Japanese themed garden with a tea house, red wooden bridge, small pond and cloud-pruned trees. The planting is naturalistic around the lake with willows, alders, cornuses providing sanctuary for waterfowl.
