Burford Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
This group comprise of 5 very different gardens located close together in the attractive Cotswold town of Burford. Their variety of size and character provides a wide range of planting and design styles in a beautiful setting. The Lodge, from where tickets and teas are available, has a well established family garden with a distinctive glasshouse at its centre, divided into several defined areas set on a sloping site. The compact, cottage-style garden at 4, Swan Close accommodates herbaceous perennials, grasses, vegetables and herbs, a mini orchard and water features. The owners of Cygnet Lodge have built a highly individualistic garden, comprising individual rooms, filled with unexpected detail.
