Balcombe Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Within the Balcombe AONB there are three quite different gardens that are full of variety and interest, which will appeal to plant lovers. Set amidst the countryside of the High Weald, 46 Westup Farm Cottages is a classic cottage garden with unique and traditional features linked by intimate paths through lush and subtle planting with pollinators and wildlife in abundance. In the village, Winterfield is a country garden packed with uncommon shrubs and trees, herbaceous borders, a summerhouse, pond and wildlife area. At nearby Stumlet the garden is restful, there are places to sit and enjoy a little peace, scent and colour. Redesigned to inc interesting plants for lasting enjoyment by different generations. A garden to watch develop in the future.
