Pett Place - Open Garden for NGS
Walled gardens covering nearly 4 acres. A garden of pleasing vistas and secret places with an idyllic rose garden and wildly romantic planting throughout. Remains of a ruined medieval chapel is a charming feature beside the manor house (not open), which was re-fronted about 1700 and which Pevsner describes as 'presenting grandiloquently towards the road'.
