Bovey Tracey Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Nestling in the Dartmoor foothills, Bovey Tracey offers a wide range of gardens. Colourful 11 St Peters Close has a mini railway and a watercolours exhibition, while Green Hedges is packed full of interest: colourful borders, shade plants, organic vegetables, greenhouses and a small stream. In the centre lies Parke View, a romantic 1 acre garden with meandering paths and old stone walls between separate areas, many unusual plants, trees, shrubs and colour themed herbaceous borders. Theres lots to enjoy at Gleam Tor - long herbaceous border, white garden, wildflower meadow, prairie planting, wildlife pond and interesting 'memory patio' (plus Colin's legendary cakes for tea).
