The Chef’s welcome
Welcome to The Rosemary! I’m Zoltan Kondics, Sous Chef of the Greenfield Hotel of Bukk. My responsibility is to provide all the 500 hotel guests with food and organise events, and banquets. As part of my job, I also organise events all around Hungary and abroad. My goal is to fuse modern technologies with traditional dishes. To create something new, you must be loyal to the traditional flavours but be able to look at them from a different angle. The result of this mindset is the astonishing fusion of the old and new.
I aim to show people the importance of plating. Placing the food gently, and being creative using colours and different techniques all influence the dining experience. The atmosphere, the colours, the plates, the cutlery, the service, and your meal will give you a unique experience. If you remove one of these things, the experience won’t be the same.
Cooperating with Mihaly, the owner of the Rosemary Organic Hungarian Restaurant, we would like to present you with something new. For this event, Mihaly created a unique tableware to serve my food in the utmost elegancy. To complete the experience, we pair the food with the masterpiece selection of Roland Wines.
