Snowdrop Photo Walk
Snowdrop Photo Walk at Hodsock Priory.
We're absolutely delighted to be given special access and welcomed back for the seventh year running to the exquisite grounds of Hodsock Priory for our three hour snowdrop photo walk where we'll be photographing the spectacular carpet of snowdrops that Hodsock have been growing for the past 26 years. This venue is a private house and not open to the public; we are granted special access and so for the duration of our walk, we'll have the grounds and gardens completely to ourselves, so you can concentrate on your photography and not worry about anyone creeping into shot.
Meeting at around 7am, to catch and make the most of the early morning light; we'll be walking the woodland paths and photographing the spectacular carpet of snowdrops. Alongside the snowdrops, there is also a stunning lake, the house itself and a myriad of other interesting and photo worthy flora and fauna.
With no classroom time, there'll be lots of practical photography with experienced tutor and professional photographer Louise on hand to coach you and provide hints and tips on how to create beautiful images and capture these stunning flowers.
Maximum of 6 students and the price includes a donation to the charity 'Hetty's' as a thank you for allowing us to use the venue.
This walk is suitable for any type of camera and a tripod is advantageous.
