Jules Hudson, TV presenter, comes to the Wigmore Gardening Club

Wigmore and District Gardening are delighted to welcome Jules Hudson as our guest speaker to the annual Dee Spoors Memorial Lecture.

Over the last decade, Jules has established himself as an engaging and versatile writer and broadcaster. His interest in country life, archaeology, architecture and both social and military history have combined with his natural warmth and good humour to deliver a wide ranging and memorable raft of TV series, including 'Escape to the Country' and 'Countryfile' amongst many.

A keen countryman and craftsman, Jules spends his time renovating his period home and garden in our beautiful county of Herefordshire as well as rescuing old furniture. It's therefore unsurprising that Jules has taken an interest in walled gardens in particular, which encompass many of these areas.

Jules will share with us his discoveries in the making of his beautifully illustrated book 'Walled Gardens' – the features that define our greatest walled kitchen gardens which are equally relevant to gardeners today, and the characters he has met on the way.

Walled Gardens is the perfect guide for anyone who shares a fascination for these unique and
enchanting spaces, and will be available for purchase and signing on the day. Tickets are limited so book yours NOW! We look forward to seeing you there....
The talk will start at 7.30pm so please be early.
Tickets are limited to 100 so you will want to get yours in advance
Just £20 for non members or £15 for gardening club members
