A Night on Planet Earth

On Friday February 24th we have a bonanza of talent on offer and something a bit different at our lovely Heron Theatre at Beetham! We welcome you to an evening of poetry and music, from a diverse range of artists. Celebrating the beauty, complexity and richness of our planetary home, bringing a spirit of harmony and wonder to our corner of Cumbria.

It will feature a host of poems, music, ecoacoustic experiments, asemic songs, stories and a film poem, brought to you by:

Maya's recent poetry pamphlet is Fossil (Peepal Tree Press, 2016) She is currently working on You Sound Thirsty, a sonic commingling of the human and more-than-human.
