Tatcho Drom String Trio
The Tatcho Drom String Trio consists of Gundula Stojanova Gruen violin/vocals, Jeremy Halliwell, guitar and Fraser Parry, cello. Tatcho Drom means ‘True Journey’, in Rromanes, the language of Romany Gypsies. Their performance repertoire features the musical discoveries of Gundula’s field work trips through Eastern Europe and the Balkans, where she learns from local musicians - the biggest inspiration have always been the old Gypsy Romany virtuosos. Their music vibrates from an untouched earth-connected and fiery energy, which Gundula preserves when crafting the arrangements for the trio.
