The Honeybees emerged after an impromptu session together backstage and gave their first public performance on Stage 2 at the Cambridge Folk Festival in 2019.
Fatea said of the trio:
‘Stunning! Three superb voices that worked so well together and hopefully it won’t be a one-off.’
Indeed it wasn’t and the three gifted musicians went back to Cambridge Folk Festival in 2022, for a return performance.
All experienced artists in their own right, Odette Michell, Zo? Wren and Amy Goddard play in a songwriters’ circle format and mix a few solo performances with many collaborations. Exquisite close harmonies and excellent musicianship, seamlessly blend the traditional and contemporary Folk music worlds together.
