Free music workshop
Music Workshop 3rd and 5th of April.
1.30 - 4pm
Heritage Music Workshops.
Heritage Music Workshops For ages 11 to 18yr olds. Younger children in the morning workshops.
Learn to sing and play music from Victorian rimes to the 1950s.
No music experience required, if you do play an instrument feel free to bring it. We have some guitars and recorders. We will be making shakers.
Hear stories about children living in Hastings in the 1800s - 1950's
Listen, sign and play and learn songs that children sung in those years.
Try costumes on if you wish.
If you love your time with us and want to be part of a community concert on 1st July you will have the opportunity to sign up for that to.
We have a number of professional musicians helping with this workshop as part of our Make a joyful noise project - part of the Heritage Lottery funding for restoration of His Place.
For ages 10 and under including babies / toddlers and parent there workshops are 10 - 12 mid -day on the same days. Please email to book your place or enquire.
