Taproom Comedy Club at Saxby's Cider
We've teamed up with Castle Comedy again and we have an awesome line up of comedy for you with Geoff Norcott as our headline act. Choose an afternoon (2pm) or evening show (7pm) at the Saxby’s Cider Yard. The taproom bar will open an hour before the shows and there will be two intervals so you can make sure everyone gets to buy a round! Over 18s only.
AFTERNOON: Bar opens at 1pm / Show starts at 2pm
EVENING: Bar opens at 6pm / Show starts at 7pm
GEOFF NORCOTT - is a unique voice in British comedy. He has hosted Live at the Apollo and features as a regular on Backstage with Katherine Ryan. He has appeared on Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie to You, Comedians Giving Lectures, Mash Report, Mock the Week and Question Time. He’s built up a significant live following with sell-out Edinburgh runs and three national tours. Operating outside the usual comedic commentary on politics and social issues, Geoff has carved a real niche for himself.
PRESIDENT OBONJO is a viral sensation, award winning comic with a special on ITVX. As the larger-than-life, uber-confident, self-appointed, side-splitting dictator of ‘Lafta Republic’, President Obonjo has been leading a comedy revolution to become the first President to take over the comedy industry by storm!
DAVID WARD. He is recognisable from BBC Three's We Are Klang and is one of comedy's most sought-after presenters, writers and comedians. David's upbeat warmth and spontaneity has made him the choice host for the heats for the BBC's New Comedy Awards.
PAUL REVILL – hosts the show. He is an award-winning comedian and one of the most likable acts on the UK comedy circuit.
