Opera Brava at The Bishop's Palace, Wells (summer 2023)
Following triumphant performances in 2022, Opera Brava will be returning this summer to The Bishop's Palace in Wells in 2023 for two nights – as part of the summer's outdoor production programme.
Two popular operas are on offer:
La Bohème – 30th June 2023 - Described as one of the most romantic opera's ever written, follow four struggling bohemians as one frosty Christmas Eve changes their worlds forever.
La Traviata – 1st July 2023 - This romantic tragedy follows the love of Violetta and Alfredo which challenges the hypocrisy of upper-class fashionable society.
Timings
Doors open at 5.45pm
Performances begin at 7.00pm
Each Opera lasts approximately just over 2 hours
We recommend you bring along a low backed camping chair or picnic blanket. This is an outdoor event so dress for the weather.
