Hop into History at Sutton House

This Easter families can enjoy a time-hopping adventure around Hackney’s oldest house.
Families can discover the story of hot cross buns and the origin of the egg hunt. They’ll follow a trail of ten activity stops around the house, uncovering the Easter traditions formed during the five centuries that the house has been standing.
The Edwardian barn will host an artist, giving families the chance to take part in an Easter craft session. At the end of the trail, each child can collect a chocolate egg. Choose from either a dairy or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg - both are made from Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa.
Sutton House’s pocket park, the Breaker’s Yard, will be open for play, offering play equipment to borrow for free.
