Sutton House After Hours
Discover 500 years of scandal, royal drama, history, and hauntings in just one evening at Hackney’s oldest house.
Join us at Sutton House for an evening tour, at either 6pm or 7.30pm. Enjoy a sparkling welcome drink in our charming courtyard, before discovering the exciting history of the house.
Originally built in the Tudor village of Hackney for courtier Ralph Sadleir, Sutton House has since housed a Victorian school, a young men’s club, the headquarters of a trade union, anarcho-punks, descendants of the first refugees, and figures with problematic links to the East India Company.
