Supper & Safaris on Brownsea Island

An exciting opportunity to meet some of Brownsea's more elusive wildlife. Enjoy a boat ride to the island and a tasty homecooked meal before heading out with one of our knowledgeable guides on a wildlife safari across the island. Listen out for the whurring of the nightjars as they swoon and swoop across the heath and snuggle up in a hide to watch the spectacle of the nesting birds on the lagoon.
This year we're giving people the option to spend the night under canvas on the night of the event with 10% off a stay at the island's historic campsite. If you choose to book with the campsite and take advantage of this offer, you would arrive anytime on the Wednesday from Poole Quay (rather than Sandbanks) on the yellow ferry and make your way up to the campsite to set up camp for the night. You'll need to make your way down to the quay to meet the Ranger and other safari participants arriving for the evening meal at 18:40. You may spend the rest of the following day on the island leaving on any yellow ferry returning to Poole up until 5pm.
Should you wish to book a campsite stay ahead of this event email: brownseaislandcampsite@nationaltrust.org.uk with proof of your booking for the Night time safari, to receive 10% off your stay.
