A weekend of wildlife and adventure for all the family. Join rangers from National Trust and Dorset Wildlife Trust as introduce you to some of Brownsea's more elusive wildlife. Arrive on any ferry from Poole Quay on Saturday (first one leaves at 10am, last one departs at 4pm) and set up your camp up for the night. Once you're ready, head down to the café for a tasty dinner before heading out on your night-time safari. Listen out for the churring of the nightjars as they swoop across the heath and witness the raucous sound of the nesting birds on the lagoon. In the morning, head out early again to meet some of the wildlife as emerges for the day, then it' off to the café for a tasty cooked breakfast in the harbour fronted café followed by a two hour paddle boarding session with local watersports provider, the Watersports Academy. There is also an option to upgrade your camping experience by trying out a tree tent or even a bell tent, additional costs will apply.
