Drop-in Family Activities, Little Floats, Charming Char & Pond Dipping
Looking for something fun to do with the kids over the May half term holidays? Dip into our water related activities. Grab a net to pond dip on the shore, add a colourful Char to our shoal, or make your own little boat which you can add to our paper fleet or float it on the pond. All activities are free, self-led and suitable for families.
Activities will be at the Old Fire Station next to our model boating pond.
Pond dipping kits must be signed out in the book and returned to the Fire Station after use.
Children must be accompanied at all times, especially around the boating pond, in the Fire Station, and on the shore whilst pond dipping.
Please remove any Little Float boat shipwrecks from the pond or shore.
This is a free, drop-in event for families to enjoy all together; no child can be left unattended.
Suitable for ages 2+ with accompanying adult.
