Fine Art For Young People
This is a ten week course held on Tuesdays in the artists studio. It aims to provide a safe and fun learning environment for children aged between 7 and 11 yrs to learn a range of 2D art techniques such as the practice of drawing and use of water based paints. Both basic theory and the skills needed to create the work are taught.
The class is a small friendly one where children are encouraged to share their learning and explore areas of art both contemporary and historic.
Children need to bring their own sketch book and basic materials , other materials are provided.
All welcome , all abilities . If children need supported learning it is advisable to contact the tutor to discuss their needs.
This is a small class max number of children 5 . and is taught in the artists studio .The tutor is fully insured with PPI and has full clear police check and is a qualified tutor and youth worker.
