Grayshott Folk Club welcomes back: JOHN BLEK
John Blek is a gentle giant. He is also a beautiful singer (think Roy Orbison), a skilful guitarist and a prolific song writer. He visited us back in 2019 and we have been waiting for the time to be right so he can play/sing for us again.
He is currently playing to sold out shows all across Ireland, will re-visit many places across Europe where his fan-base is expanding and then he'll be doing a short UK tour. We are delighted he will be returning to us and this time he will be performing in the beautiful setting of St. Alban's Church.
His live shows are thoughtful and entertaining and are littered with stories. They showcase his arresting vocals and intricate guitar playing.
Lyric & Air is his latest single. Featuring the irresistible vocals of Irish Indie stalwart Cathy Davey and the layered strings of Colm Mac Con Iomaire.
