Thornton Steward Village Hall - open for tea, coffee & homemade cakes
Volunteers are opening the village hall (known locally as The Institute to serve tea, coffee and delicious home-made cakes to raise funds for local charity on selected Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
This will be particularly welcome for those planning a walk, cycle or simply a day out in the area which is located in beautiful Wensleydale across the river from Jervaulx abbey near Leyburn, Masham and Bedale.
