Programme of free events for people curious about teaching as a career and those ready to step into the classroom
A recruitment drive is coming to the East of England to encourage young people starting out in the world of work and those considering switching jobs to find out more about life as a teacher.
The free Get Into Teaching event aims to inspire more people in the area to join a profession that helps shape the lives of the next generation.
The event, from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday 3rd May at Hilton Cambridge City Centre, 20 Downing Street, Cambridge, CB2 3DT, is open to everyone – from the career curious, to those ready to apply – and will be packed with information and advice on the steps to becoming a teacher.
The Get Into Teaching East of England event will include opportunities to meet current teachers from local schools, talk to expert advisers, and connect with others interested in teaching.
