1-day Clay Sculpture Workshop: Creatures Moving

This workshop is ideal for those with a little experience of clay who would like to extend their handbuilding skills and learn new techniques (suitable for improvers up). At the end of the workshop you will be able to take your sculpture home with knowledge of how to continue working on it. Everyone has the option to have their sculpture fired once dry in the QPAC kiln for a charge of £4.50. Full instructions on how to remove the armature, (once the clay is leather hard) will be demonstrated before the end of the day.
You must buy your own clay for this workshop – a recommended sculpting clay will be available to purchase from QPAC on the day, at a charge of £12.50 per half-bag, which is what we estimate you will need for the workshop. Experienced potters may wish to bring their own choice of clay. Please also bring along your own pottery tools if desired, your own set of Pliers and a short-bladed old kitchen knife will be useful though not essential. All other materials will be provided, please wear comfortable clothing.
