Shrewsbury Festival Chorus : Mendelssohn's ELIJAH
Shrewsbury Cantata Choir join with Shrewsbury Choral Choir to form the Shrewsbury Festival Chorus.
Around 90 choristers will be accompanied by a 40 piece orchestra to present Mendelssohn's rousing and lively work ELIJAH, in the iconic setting of Shrewsbury Abbey.
There is a large free car park opposite the Abbey and the venue is within walking distance (over the beautiful English Bridge) of many wonderful eating places in this wonderful town, the setting of part of the BBC's 2023 Great Expectation series.
