Royal Holloway Science Festival is taking place at our University campus at Egham on Saturday 28 March 2026 from 10am-4pm.
This free, family friendly event for all ages offers opportunities for the wider community to engage with science through hands-on activities, displays and talks. No advanced booking required.
Special highlights to look forward to this year include talks on various themes and activities to feed your curiosity, from seeing the world with VR, trying your hand at magical maths or interacting with robots, to investigating crop science, natural hazards and exploring the stars. We'll also be joined by the popular Gauge One Model Railway Association with their live steam trains.
The programme will offer a wide range of things to see and do to explore science with staff and students from across our science departments, to inspire you and have fun.
Parking on site is free and a wide variety of food and drink will be available to purchase from campus outlets throughout the day.
We invite you to join us for a day of interactive displays and talks from, and for, people with a passion for science.
