Sir John Savile’s Household are back at Hoghton Tower for two days of encampment, living history, demonstrations, drills and more! Great fun for all the family. The attendance of little knights in armour is encouraged!
Timetable for the day (subject to change)
The Encampment Opens at 10.30am –
Living history displays around the campsite will be open all day.
11am – First Combat Display / Weapons Display – Archery & Guns, followed by “Have a go Archery”
12 noon Lunch break, encampment remains open to view.
1pm Mummers Style Play
2pm Second Combat Display / Weapons Talk – Bill Drill, leading on to kids bill drill.
3pm Third Combat Display – Guns
Admission fee: Adult £6.00 pp, Children £4.00pp, Under 5s free
Site Entry ticket includes gardens.

This is a fundraising event for the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust (Registered Charity Number: 508357). Admission income is in aid of the Trust and will help us run, maintain and restore this historic site.
