Join the Upper Thames Branch of Butterfly Conservation on a trip to BBOWT Seven Barrows Nature Reserve: nationally important for its archaeology as well as its wildlife, this ancient and atmospheric site has a wonderful variety of chalk grassland flowers and butterflies.
We will explore areas of grassland, on the reserve, to see some of our spring butterflies and other wildlife. We will also stroll along the road and up the track towards Crog Hill to see what we can find there. Target species: Dingy Skipper, Small Blue and day-flying moths.
Accessibility - mainly flat, steep up to Crop Hill, Firm but uneven in places.
Meet by Reserve car park, north of Lambourn (track can be muddy and uneven).
