Social and political comment, comedy and history.
Amazing performer. Such a unique skill in terms of creativity and delivery. Engaging with the audience makes it exciting and alive.” Barnstaple Theatre Festival 2018
Award-winning poet and storyteller, The Bard of Windmill Hill, serves up an ever-evolving treatise for our troubled times encompassing tragedy, history and comedy; satire, philosophy and social comment; drama, theatricality and hilarity. It’s a tour de force of epic dimensions. He received a Best Show Award from Shaftesbury Fringe Festival in 2018. The judges commented the show was “well-constructed, original and funny… sharp and often unexpected” and spoke of “a clever and original voice”.
A sell out show at the Heron Theatre in Milnthorpe, Cumbria provoked the artistic director to say: My thanks, on behalf of the theatre and the audience... the combination of humour, challenge and pathos often linked to current events was appreciated.
