Opera at the Castle
An afternoon and an evening performance of opera at the beautiful Chiddingstone Castle Orangery - the perfect location to enjoy great music, fabulous costumes and (hopefully) wonderful summer weather.
A summer gala of highlights, from spectacular choral numbers to moving and comic arias sung by professional soloists and the Kentish Opera Chorus.
This show is a fabulous introduction to opera as it is in an informal environment and the programme will suit either those who love opera already or those who want to find out more without attending a full show.
The auditorium is in front of the Orangery on the lawn so don't forget to bring chairs or a rug. You can also picnic in the castle grounds or enjoy a cream tea from their tearoom.

Performances are at 2pm and 6pm and each one lasts for approximately two hours, including an interval.
Ticket prices are £25 per adult, free for children up to and including ages 16, and £22.50 per ticket for adults booking in groups of 10 or more.
Chiddingstone Castle also offers a reduced entry fee for those attending the show, meaning you can make a full day of it looking round the venue and its collections and enjoying the beautiful gardens.
