Join the Upper Thames Branch of Butterfly Conservation for a trip to BBOWT’s Blenheim Farm Community Nature Reserve: a peaceful haven, surrounded by hedgerows and scrubby woodland, where local volunteers help to manage its habitats for wildlife.
After wandering across from the lay-by we will stroll slowly around the reserve, looking for summer butterflies and other wildlife. Target species: Marbled White and other species of hedgerow and grassland.
Accessibility - 0.5-mile walk to reserve. Gentle slope, basic paths & kissing gates.
Park in the lay-by on the B4022 at the bottom of the hill in Charlbury, and take the footpath beside Blenheim Farm House for 1/2 mile. We will meet at the reserve entrance.
