Conductor: Riccardo Bianchi
Organ: Jacopo Brusa

FREE OF CHARGE

As part of its London tour, KorMalta will be performing in the heart of London at the historic medieval Temple Church. Steeped in the history of Christendom and the whole Common Law World, the round church was built in 1162 and has witnessed some key events which went on to shape the modern world.

The original works are actually written for Renaissance formations and have been authentically transcibred by KorMalta Artistic Director Riccardo Bianchi for a much awaited revival.

Featuring works by Jacques Arcadelt, Carpentras and Antoine de Fevin, this concert will take audiences back on a journey to mediavel times.

KorMalta – Malta’s National Choir - is an initiative of the Arts Council Malta within the Ministry for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government. Founded in 2018, KorMalta has undertaken intense work to make the national choir a qualified choral group, meeting the most demanding and widest choral repertoire: from a cappella polyphony to baroque, to operatic and symphonic performances.
