Homelessness charity Solidarity Sale
Homelessness charity Emmaus Greenwich is hosting their annual Solidarity Sale, inviting ethical minded customers to bag some bargains whilst raising funds to fight global poverty and social inequality.
The Emmaus Greenwich Solidarity Sale will take place at their Plumstead, Lewisham and Poplar shops in Greenwich, London, on 10 June 2023. The charity will donate 100% of takings that day to Emmaus International which will use the funds to carry out solidarity programmes and campaigns across the world.
Emmaus Greenwich supports up to 42 formerly homeless people by providing them with a home, work, companionship and individual support. Solidarity is central to the Emmaus ethos, and by shopping with us on the day of our Solidarity Sale, you will be taking action to support vulnerable people and communities in desperate need. The funds raised on this day will be used to help improve access to basic human rights, such as education, health and water – things we often take for granted here in the UK.
