As a boy, Sam's love of music was heavily influenced by his Irish grand-father.
His EP ‘Spokes’ landed him a nomination in the Best Singer category at the 2015 Spiral Earth Awards, and his debut album (The Lost Boys 2015), received a Four Star **** review in R2 magazine and was also included in the Daily Telegraph list of Best Folk albums of 2015.
Sam won the Horizon Award at the BBC Folk Awards 2016 and has recently finished a major UK tour as part of Kate Rusby's band.

Jamie Francis
Jamie met Sam at Music College in Brighton, where they quickly struck up an enduring musical partnership. Jamie has become something of a Banjo virtuoso and plays alongside many top Folk musicians. He also plays Guitar and sings.
