All is not well in the Humble Hive. Felix Humble is a Cambridge astro-physicist in search of a unified field theory. Following the sudden death of his father, Felix returns to his middle England home and his difficult and demanding mother, where he soon realises his search for unity must include his own chaotic home life. First performed at the Royal National Theatre in 2001, and set entirely outdoors in the Humbles’ garden, this beautifully written, bittersweet comedy will have you crying with laughter one moment and emotion the next. The Oxted Players are performing Humble Boy from 17th until 21st October at 7.30pm with a matinee on Saturday 21st at 2.30pm. Tickets costing £13.00 are available from www.barntheatreoxted.co.uk
