History in the making: the inaugural concert of a new quartet formed by Rafael Todes, formerly of the Allegri Quartet. The stellar line-up comprises Rafael playing second violin, violist Graham Oppenheimer, who was a co-player with Rafael in the Schidlof Quartet, and cellist Kirsten Jenson, who played with the Allegri before lockdown. Guest musician is Ben Nabarro, first violin with the acclaimed Nash Ensemble. They play Schubert’s Quartettsatz, Beethoven’s Harp quartet Op. 74 and Ravel’s Quartet.
