Silver Clay: Layered Silver Pendant
Make a beautiful layered silver pendant
In this one day class, you will be taught the basics of silver clay.
You will try out a range of cutters and textures and then go on to create a layered pendant, similar to that shown in the picture.
You will learn how to add a bail (or you might prefer to make a hole for a jump ring), add texture and attach and secure elements to your piece. Toni will show you how to finish, fire and polish your work.
By the end of the session you will have one fine silver piece to take away with you.
If you’ve never tried this medium it is the quickest way to achieve fine silver jewellery and the feel of it is pure alchemy. If you are into eco crafts, you could argue this is perfect as the silver is recycled from the car manufacturing industry.
As usual you will have some time to plan your design with our qualified PMC instructor Toni.
