Formby Festival 2023
Formby Festival has been running since 2013 except during the pandemic with last year being the most successful ever although we did have fantastic weather with approx. 10,000 people attending the event over Saturday and Sunday.
We are a food, drink festival with food and drink from around the world with plenty of entertainment with a live music stage as well. We have a display arena where we have a BMX display, kids entertainment marquee with magic shows and circus school, birds of prey, Walking with Dinosaurs, Kids Cooking, Bake Off and flower/vegetable competition, fun dog show competition, fairground rides and lots more.
Friday is our Silent Disco night with 3 channels and also live entertainment and dancing with our fun dinosaurs.
Saturday is full of live entertainment, lots to eat and drink, BMX Display team, Walking with Dinosaurs with the day finishing off with our fantastic musical firework display.
Sunday is our carnival day with the fantastic Katumba Basilica Band and with our Brazilian Dancers, not to mention everything else that is going on.
It is unlimited access to the event and you can also visit the beach, squirrel reserve and Formby Village and still come back and enjoy yourself. We are situated right opposite Formby Station.
