Summer Holidays at Standen: Sketchbook Detective
Enjoy family activities in the great outdoors this summer at Standen. Become a Sketchbook Detective and enjoy getting creative in the garden or have a go at creating a masterpiece in the Woodland Den.
Booking not needed. Normal admission charges apply for the venue.
£3 per trail, including sketchbook and pencil
Saturday 8 July to Sunday 1 October, 10am-4:30pm
Get creative in the garden at Standen this summer. Families can follow in artist Maggie Beale’s footsteps by becoming a ‘Sketchbook Detective’. Maggie is planning a future exhibition of her sketches but needs to add some more to her collection. See if you can find all the places in the garden where Maggie has started to draw pictures in the sketchbook but has run out of time to complete them. Can you finish them for her Collect your A6 sketchbook and pencil on arrival and start cracking the clues. Great for kids
