The award-winning Creative Craft show is arriving at Westpoint Exeter from 21st – 23rd September. The weekend will see the return of exciting workshops, expert-led demonstrations, and inspiring make and take sessions. With over 100 stands filled with crafty supplies, tools and projects, this weekend will be an unmissable event for hobbyists and crafters.
This year the Creative Craft Show will focus on cosy crafting this Autumn, with all your favourite exhibitors encouraging visitors to adopt a new craft hobby for Autumn/Winter as the shorter and darker evening approach.
Terri Hignett from ICHF, The Creative Craft Show organisers said: “We’re promoting mindfulness and self-care this season and encourage you to find a new crafty hobby to help you have a calm and cosy Autumn/Winter. Imagine being able to curl up with a blanket and focus solely on crafting by candlelight as the dark evenings draw in – bliss!”
Brand new to the Creative Craft Show this year is award winning author and designer, Helen Rhiannon. Helen is the author of ‘Dressmaking. The Easy Guide’ and will be leading exciting demonstrations based on her new book. After running workshops for over 16 years, visitors won’t want to miss out on Helen’s demonstrations at Exeter this year.
Visitors to the Creative Craft Show can pick up tips and advice from the Make & Take sessions mini workshops where they can try their hand at new crafts and test products out before they buy.
A special feature at this year’s show will be the Woodbury Woodturners, with new demonstrators set to entertain visitors this year. Visitors won’t want to miss out on watching all the creative things they get making, especially as many of the items made will be given away to the audience!
From macramé, free-motion embroidery to batik art and needle felting, visitors can get involved with an amazing selection of demonstration
