Peppa Pig and George visit the Epping Ongar Railway!
Peppa Pig and her brother, George, will be coming to join us at the Epping Ongar Railway so don't miss out on the opportunity to come and say hello!
Capacity on each train will be limited and advance booking is essential.
Appearances take place at North Weald station. There is no parking available at the station, except for blue badge holders. We recommend travelling to us via the Central Line (journey time to Epping is just 30 minutes from Stratford) or parking at Epping Underground station (parking charges payable) or in public car parks in Ongar and using our connecting heritage bus service which is included in your fare. Check our website for the bus timetable.
Our resident magician, John, will be on board the train with lots of tricks to keep you entertained during the journey, and there will be other on-board activities too.
At North Weald
See Peppa and George. They will pass by you on their own performance train whilst you stand on the platform. Interaction between the characters and children therefore is limited but there will always be a great chance to see the characters and take a wonderful picture.
Our gift shop will be open with a wide selection of souvenirs for sale, as well as a selection of Peppa Pig merchandise.
The LNER Café will be open offering a range of hot and cold drinks and light refreshments to take away.
At Ongar Station
During the journey, there will be a short break at the historic Ongar station where you can follow the clues and find the large eggs around the station.
Our gift shop will be open and light refreshments will be available. For an additional charge a balloon modeller will be creating balloon animals for you to take away.
