East Hanningfield Annual Art exhibition and Sale
An annual art exhibition and sale to raise funds for our village hall and field facilites. It is made possible by a crowd of village volunteers. Bond's Estate agents have supported us with their well signed boards in the area. So should be easy to find!
Artists from the region enter a variety of work in different mediums including photography, fabric and embroidery as well as various paint methods and materials.
There can be as many as 450 works on boards for display and a range of portfolios i.e. unframed and on table display. This is a great way to buy lovely art pieces and have a personal choice of frame.
There are 70 to 90 artists involved with an excellent standard of work and a wide range of appeal as well as prices for all pockets.
Some artists will have a selection of their work as cards.
There is a few select handmade art items on display and for sale. This includes acrylic work, avian wood sculpures, beautiful amber and metal crafted cutlery and coin jewellery.
There will also be a chance to buy good quality second hand books from our upstairs loft library. There is a stair lift for easy access.
All day on both days there will be simple refreshements including home made cakes and a
chance to sit and contemplate possible purchases!
Come and join us for a restful time in good company surrounded by attractive art.
Spend a pleasant hour or two with us, taking refreshement, and enjoying a wide range of second hand books. We have about 4.000!!
