Theatre Masterclasses for Adults with MAKE IT BEAUTIFUL
This Autumn Trestle are delighted to welcome Make It Beautiful Theatre Company (MIB) for a series of workshops focussing on long-form improvisation.
The masterclasses will build towards a sharing at the end of the month and we encourage everyone to sign up for all four sessions, however, feel free to attend as many sessions as you are able. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to show up and play!
The Dream Machine Ensemble
An in-depth, four session, delve into long-form improv techniques and story-telling.
How can we create endless magical and inventive stories without boundaries using dreams as a stimulus
MIB will teach their long-form improv methods, aiming to give participants the tools to create prolonged fun and engaging content. The goal is not to be funny but to be interesting and interested.
ABOUT MAKE IT BEAUTIFUL:
MIB are a London-based collective from the Drama Centre Acting School. They focus on entertaining storytelling, global collaboration and unearthing the interesting from the mundane. MIB aim to bring joy and collaborate with those who share their passion. Their mission is to find stories in the cobwebbed corners of the world and, ultimately, make them beautiful.
Their workshops have been hosted at Lamda, Italia Conti, London Southbank University, Alexandra Palace, UEA, Trestle Arts Base, the English Theatre of Hamburg & the Slovenian Black Box Studio.
