Join Orchestra of the Swan for a breath-taking tribute to winter and the festive season, featuring music and words from across the centuries - ancient carols, folky fiddling, traditional Christmas songs and classical favourites.
Midwinter is a pre-Christmas orchestral concert that sets the Christmas mood with beautiful arrangements for strings, harp & percussion by David Le Page of well-known carols and trad tunes, interspersed with familiar classics. A lively evening that delights in all sorts of festive music - expect ‘Fairytale of New York’ by The Pogues, alongside Vivaldi 'Winter' from the Four Seasons and upbeat arrangements of 'Riu Riu' and 'Three Ships' - and many more!
