Clay - Hand Building - Beginners Course (10 weeks)
10 Week Course (weekly 2 hr session)
This 10 week course, designed for Beginners, will introduce you to the world of Clay Hand Building.
Ceramic Artist, Emma Jayne Robertson, will guide you through the basic techniques; rolling, cutting, attaching, pinching, coiling, forming and slab building with clay, along with various decoration techniques using underglaze paint colours and clear glaze.
Your tuition, use of tools and equipment plus a Small Kiln Firing at Bisque and Glaze temperature is included in your fee.
You will also be provided with 4kg of Stoneware Clay, 5 x 15ml pots of Underglaze Colour & 100ml of Transparent Glaze.
You can purchase extra materials & additional firings if needed.
There is also the option to pay as you go for materials and firings.
Suitability: ADULTS Beginners / Those With Little Experience
