1-Day Block Printing Workshop
Enjoy a full day workshop learning about the traditional craft of Indian Block Printing with Clare Walsh Design. You'll first take a look at traditional fabrics and photos of the block printing process in India. After a demonstration from the tutor, you'll print onto different types of paper using a wide selection of hand carved blocks available, experimenting with borders, repeat patterns and colour. In the afternoon you'll print a tea towel or bag to take home. This course is suitable for adult beginners. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss any access needs.
