Join our choir in Newcastle-upon-Tyne/Jesmond for a FREE taster session

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

Your local Newcastle-upon-Tyne choir is run by vocal tutor Rob Slater. Our choir is made up of people who never thought they would join a choir or would even sing for fun and that's the beauty of joining our choir. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the nearby Tyne and Wear choirs too.

Every week local people like you attend group rehearsals and learn pop, rock, Motown and every now and again a 'pop gospel' song. Like the sound of that? You can book a FREE taster session for yourself (and a maybe a friend!) to experience the easy going atmosphere and expert vocal tuition. Go to https://www.rockchoir.com/join to book you own FREE singing session to get a taste of singing for yourself

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I wanted to see if I could sing in a choir after being inspired by the 'Choir that Rocks' TV programmes in the Summer of 2011 and joined the new Bedford RC after a taster session. I am very proud of the choir and I find rehearsals inspiring as people are so friendly and the singing so uplifting.' - Jim (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
