FREE taster session with the Worcester Rock Choir

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

The local Worcester choir is run by choir leader Jacob Ashworth. The Worcester branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Worcester community causes and events, the local branches of Rock Choir led by Jacob come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the O2 Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, radio appearances and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Jacob tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with him about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 19 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community choirs the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I wanted to see if I could sing in a choir after being inspired by the 'Choir that Rocks' TV programmes in the Summer of 2011 and joined the new Bedford RC after a taster session. I am very proud of the choir and I find rehearsals inspiring as people are so friendly and the singing so uplifting.' - Jim (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
