Britain's What's On Event Guide
FREE taster session with the Edinburgh Morningside Rock Choir
Are you looking to learn to sing?
The local Edinburgh choir is run by singing teacher Elaine Williamson. We support a number of local good causes, raising money and awareness around and as a choir we also sing together with other Rock Choir singers in the nearby choirs to support national charities such as Missing People and both Comic and Sport Relief with flash mobs, fundraising events and gigs.
You've probably heard us singing in and around , or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Edinburgh Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I looked for years for somewhere to sing with others, but never found a group that sang a wide range of songs that you looked forward to singing with a smile on your face and a swing in the hips. Rock Choir arrived and filled that void, I'm still smiling.' - Isabel (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
