The band famous for the Christmas No. 1 in 1994 (Stay Another Day) are coming to Lanark this Christmas!
East 17 were formed in 1991 and while undergoing line- up changes through the years, original member Terry Coldwell has remained a constant member.
Named after the postcode of their hometown Walthamstow, East 17 achieved eighteen top-20 singles and four top-10 albums, and they were one of the UK's most popular boy bands during the early to mid-1990s. They sold over 18 million albums worldwide and have been certified with sales of 1.8 million albums and 2.4 million singles in the UK.
As well as their biggest hit, 'Stay Another Day', they scored 12 TOP 10 hits between 1992-1998 including 'House of Love', 'It’s Alright' and their No. 2 chart hit 'If Ever'.
The group continues today under the line-up of Terry Coldwell, Joe Livermore since 2019 and former Artful Dodger collaborator Robbie Craig since 2014.
